Art Auction to benefit South Suburban Family Shelter

In cooperation with the Village of Homewood, Bottle and Bottega Homewood  is hosting an art auction on Thursday, June 8 from 6:30-9:00PM.  Bottle and Bottega is located at 2009 Ridge Rd, Homewood.

Held on the eve of Homewood’s Art and Garden Street Fair, the event will feature donated original artwork and 100% of the proceeds from the art auction will be donated to South Suburban Family Shelter.

It will be a fun evening to mingle with local artists, enjoy some wine and cheese, and bid on original artwork to  benefit South Suburban Family Shelter. The event is open to the public and there is no admission charge.

South Suburban Family Shelter is a not-for-profit agency which provides comprehensive services to families who experience domestic violence. These services include:  24-Hour Crisis Hotline, Emergency Shelter, Counseling for adult victims and their children, Medical Advocacy program, Court Advocacy program, Prevention program, Partner Abuse Intervention program, Professional Trainings, and more.  All services are available in English and Spanish. All victim services are provided free of charge.

SSFS is seeking donations of original artwork, including paintings, photography, ceramics, or other high-end, hand-crafted artisan made pieces.

Donations may be dropped off at SSFS admin office located at 18139 Harwood, Homewood during daytime hours or  may be dropped off directly to Bottle and Bottega located at 2009 Ridge Rd. in Homewood evenings from 7-9:30PM.
